BetterWhere is my better,  the summer rose  upon the spring of winter’s fall?   
My completion,  making a heart whole, it being too long  without warmth.  Too long  without feeling, without pain,  without happiness, without passion.  Without . . .

Rhythm On ChartThe beat of the bass  Threatens to overtake me,  Vibrating my cup of water  As my hands sweat in anticipation.   
The tenor drones on,  Monotony numbing my mind,  Setting me up to be  Caught off-guard  And reprimanded for not  Paying attention  To out guest speaker.   
Noises mingle in my ears:  Ecstasy of the crowd becomes  The Usher talking becomes  Scratched vinyl, screeching, becomes  The building shaking,  Innumerable feet asking it to fall upon  Their owners’ heads.

Sheesh. It's been more than a year since my last journal update. If you're interested to know what's going on in my life, catch me on AIM or some other messager, or e-mail me.

I'm glad to say that I went from 900+ deviations to go through down to only 47, all of which are writings (some dating back to 2005; sorry! >.<;). No, I didn't go through all the others. I did go through some, though (all right, I went through probably at least a third), and I faved a few.

Anyway. A new poem's up (though I'm sure you've probably read it by now, if you're reading this), and I'd like to hear your feedback.

Keep trekking, fellow deviants, and stay strong.
